Frequently Asked Questions

DR. V will “pin” a post at the top of the challenge page early in the month encouraging those seeking a new Accountability Partner (AP) to post their requests for everyone to see. If other challengers are already looking for new AP’s, we encourage you to respond to those posts first before making your own request. Be sure to secure your AP or join an existing team in the first week!

INTERACT EVERYDAY IN THE FACEBOOK GROUP! Read the instructions in Dr. V’s daily email or FB post, which is where he details the tasks for the day. Make sure you’re keeping up!

The Challenge is a living, ongoing entity that welcomes new members every month with Day 1 having occurred on March 1st, 2020.  So, while founding members may be on Day 482, newest members may be tackling Day 9, for instance. We’re all at different stages in our journey, but doing the assignments for the day you’re on, coupled with the latest assignment, will allow you to get the most out of this challenge!

The “Wolf” notes, authored by Debra Wolf and a team of volunteers, are a detailed summary of Dr. V’s daily FB Lives. For your convenience, the notes also include related links pertaining to the assignment of the day. We encourage you to download and read them, particularly if you’re unable to catch Dr. V’s FB Live. The notes are posted on a daily basis and can be found under the “Files” tab in the challenge page.

Dr. V goes live daily on the FB challenge page at 8 am CST (6 am PST). If you’re unable to see his live feed, refresh your FB page a few times until you see his video pop up.  You’ll need to scroll down a few posts, - you can’t miss it!  

If you’re not receiving your daily emails, please check the email account you signed up with. If you’re checking the correct email account but not receiving daily messages, try searching the key term “challenge,” as some email servers may send directly to spam. It’s also possible you may have unsubscribed from Sleeve Academy emails at some point. DR. V also posts duplicates of the daily emails in the challenge group to ensure every one stays current.  So at the very least, you can copy and send the emails to yourself from the Challenge group. PLEASE NOTE: If you cancel your subscription at any point, this will also stop your emails.

As of this writing, Debra Wolf, Cynthia Eggleston Dales, Susan O’Beam, and Ana-Luiza OC all serve as challenge admins. In addition to being challenge founders, they’re volunteers who help moderate the challenge page and help newbies and existing members with questions on how to navigate the challenge. In addition, Cynthia Eggleston Dales is our expert for all things fitness and creates the weekend exercise challenges. Be on the lookout for these, they’re awesome!

The V-Tribe is a FB Group moderated by members currently participating in the challenge. It’s a place where challengers support and encourage each other to stay on track while sharing their journeys, recipes, side-hustles, and more!  You are not required to join, but are certainly encouraged to do so.

The group coaching package with Dr. V does have its own separate membership fee. If you’re interested in purchasing a coaching package, Dr. V will announce the number of open slots he has available towards the end of the month. Be on the lookout for his announcement, and be sure to request to sign up under that post!

We understand that on occasion we may accidentally make purchases we didn’t intend to make. If this is your case, you may send any of the admins a brief note with the email address you used when purchasing the course (see your purchase confirmation). Your message will be forwarded accordingly for refund consideration. Due to the number of messages we receive, it can take up to 7-14 business days to receive a response and process that refund on Dr. V’s end.

We encourage you to continue receiving your daily messages in the email you initially provided, or catch the post on the FB page. However, if circumstances are such that your email address must be changed in DR. V’s system, please send the admins a note with your preferred email + the email you are currently using. This note will be forwarded accordingly requesting that change. Due to the number of messages and requests we receive, it can take up to 7-14 business days to make that change. We thank you for your patience.

It’s easy! Please visit www.sleeveacademy.com and login to your account. To update or remove your credit card information, select the Profile tab, then Settings, and click on the Billing Info tab.  We ask that you do not message the admins, or Dr. V via IM as we are unable to handle sensitive, personal information via IM. We thank you for your understanding.

While Dr. V’s goal is to provide massive value for you on a daily basis, we also understand that members may need to occasionally cancel their membership due to financial hardship. Per challenge policy, there are No Refunds once you are billed. If you are no longer interested in participating in the challenge, Dr. V will “pin” a post at the top of the challenge page towards the end of the month. This is where you can let him know you’re canceling. Make sure to provide your email, so your information is removed from his email and billing system. We’d also like to remind you there are ways you can stay in the challenge for free! See question below on how to become an affiliate.

We celebrate your curiosity! You can check your back office to see if you have made any sales. Unfortunately at this time, the software used does not show who made your purchases.

Due to the number of messages and requests we receive, we’re unable to check on these requests for challenge members. We thank you for your understanding!

While theses coaching sessions have been life-changing for so many members in the challenge, we also understand the current economic climate may not allow you to continue with your coaching package. Once you decide you can no longer participate in group coaching, you must let Dr. V know during your last session. You can also log into your account and cancel it under Settings>Subscriptions.

We’re glad you’ll be sporting V-gear in the near future! Due to COVID-19, orders may take longer to process, and in some cases,  shipments may be delayed. We thank you for your patience as Dr. V works to ship your orders placed through the sleeveacademy.com or drvgear.com. As these orders are separate from the Weight Loss Challenge and involve billing & shipping addresses, and payment methods, please IM Dr. V directly with the email you used when making your purchase if it has been at least 30 days since your last order.  Enjoy your gear!
